Birmingham's Shock & Gore horror and fantasy festival is back from the dead this July….again!

But unlike those unstoppable horror icons who
just won't die no matter how many people don't watch the sequels, we work hard to ensure that Shock & Gore doesn't succumb to the law of diminishing returns.

This year's line-up takes place between Friday July 25th and Thursday July 31st, and it's another treasure trove of the weird and the wonderful, offering sneak previews, live scores, rare 35mm screenings, cult favourites and yet another of our epic all-nighters. We've also worked with the BFI on a pair of special events – one which examines the horror genre through a queer lens, and the other in conjunction with the BFI Southbank's ongoing Dennis Potter season.

Most of the festival is based at Birmingham's historic Electric Cinema, although a few are also happening at The Victoria theatre bar, just a stone's throw from The Electric. So just click on 'What's On' to witness the full mouth-watering line-up...
